WWW Wednesday (March 6)

ImageW…W…W…Wednesdays is a weekly reading prompt hosted by MizB at Should be Reading.

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

I am currently reading Speaking From Among the Bones by Alan Bradley. It is the fifth  Flavia de Luce novel. I am only 3 chapters in but, Flavia is already up to her usual antics. You definitely need to read the books in order, starting with The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie, to truly enjoy the characters and understand the references to the past. They are quick reads. So, it would take you no time at all to get caught up.

Since last week’s post, I finished reading Carrie by Stephen King and The Stupidest Angel by Christopher Moore. If you want to know what I thought about those two books you can click on the titles and read my Catch Up Reading Challenge reviews (a term I use loosely, as I am, by no means, a ‘reviewer’).

I am really undecided as to what I am going to read next. I have so many good books on the TBR shelves. I am thinking about doing another book for the Catch Up Reading Challenge and tackling either The Song of Suzannah or Delores Claiborne by Stephen King. We’ll see what mood I am in when I finish a visit with Flavia & company.

Until next week, keep reading!

About Paul H-C

Just an avid reader in the little town of Bangor, Maine (Yes, that Bangor...home of Stephen King). When I'm not reading and drinking coffee, I sell cell phones by the sea shore.

I’ve only read one of the Flavia de Luce books, I liked it, I don’t know why I haven’t read more.

    I’m also a Mainer–from The County. 🙂

What do you think?
